On December 19, 2024, the National Erasmus+ Office in Moldova, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, organised the seminar with the title “Enhancing the Relevance of Education through Micro-credentials in the Republic of Moldova”.

The seminar was organised in online mode and was led by independent expert Prof. Frank McMahon, ex-Director of the Department of Academic Affairs at the Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland. He provided participants with a detailed perspective on the ways in which micro-credentials can contribute to increasing the relevance of education in relation to the demands of the labor market.

The seminar was designed to support higher education and vocational education institutions from the Republic of Moldova in implementing micro-credentials, which allow students and professionals to accumulate specific skills and obtain official recognition for the acquired skills, thus facilitating rapid integration into the labor market.
