Erasmus+ Moldova, part of Information Day in France and Ukraine

The team of National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Moldova took part in Information Days, organized by Erasmus+ Agency in France and NEO Ukraine between the 16th and 20th of November. The events were dedicated to the launch of the 2016 Erasmus+ Call for Proposals. NEO Moldova's participation at the information seminars aimed to facilitate the contact and encourage the collaborations between Moldovan Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and those from France and Ukraine.

Organized in Bordeaux (November 16th to 18th, 2015), Information Day in France gathered the representatives of about 140 French universities, delegates of European Commission, of the Executive Agency for Culture, Education and Audiovisual (EACEA), as well as representatives of NEOs in Serbia and Kazakhstan.

Representatives of HEIs from France expressed their interest to collaborate with universities from Moldova, especially in academic mobility projects, as well as in Capacity Building in Higher Education.

During the information seminar organized in Kiev (the 19th and 20th of November, 2015) more than 160 representatives of Ukrainian universities from all over the country participated. Many of the institutions have already a common and vast experience with Moldovan HEIs, established within Tempus and Erasmus Mundus projects. The cooperation between the two countries in Erasmus+ is also encouraged by the fact that both states are part of the same group - that of the Eastern Partneship.

During both events, the team of National Erasmus+ Office in Moldova presented the national Education system and several project proposals, collected from the Moldovan universities that intend to apply for Erasmus+ projects both in Key Action 1 - International Credit Mobility and Key action 2 - Capacity Building in Higher Education.
