Event Dedicated to Erasmus+ and STEAM without borders: Executive Vice-President of the European Commission Pays Official Visit to Chișinău

On 10 June, the Technical University of Moldova hosted a high-level event focused on promoting innovation in education and showcasing the impact of European programmes, particularly Erasmus+, in the presence of the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, Roxana Mînzatu.

The event began with an exhibition of Erasmus+ Capacity Building and Jean Monnet projects implemented in the Republic of Moldova, offering insights into their results and contributions to the modernisation of higher education in the country.

A highlight of the day was the EU Talks #YouthForEurope session, which provided a space for open dialogue between young people and European officials. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, share their experiences, and hear inspiring success stories from Erasmus+ and STEAM programme beneficiaries.

The day concluded with a cluster meeting dedicated to Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) and Jean Monnet projects implemented in Moldova. The discussions brought together project coordinators and team members, along with Adrien Olszak-Olszewski, Policy Officer at DG EAC, and Giuseppe Paglione, Programme Officer at the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova.

The event highlighted a shared commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive, and relevant European education—one that transcends borders and brings EU opportunities closer to young people.
