Information Day Campaign has arrived in Comrat

The National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) has organised on Wednesday, October 18th, an informing session at the Comrat State University and presented the Erasmus+ Programme opportunities’ for the young people from Moldova.

The NEO team has explained to the students the ways they can obtain a short term mobility in a European university, in the context of the international partnerships' enlargement in the framework of Erasmus+.

In the same time, the students were acknowledged with the long term opportunities such as Joint Master Degrees which take place fully abroad.

The EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova was represented by the project officer, Fabien Schaeffer, who has encouraged the young people to apply and benefit from the Erasmus+ experience. „I was in Germany 18 years ago with Erasmus being a French citizen. From my own experience, I can tell that this programme contributes not just in acquainting new educational institutions or systems, but also to make new contacts. Have the possibility to meet new people, to improve your language skills”, mentioned Fabien Schaeffer.

The NEO Moldova coordinator, Claudia Melinte, said that students’ interest and ambition can represent a drive for the mobilization of the University for building Erasmus+ partnerships.

The students from Comrat that have participated in Erasmus+ shared their mobilities study experience in universities from Italy and Portugal.

In the same time, Liudmila Fedotova, a teacher at the Comrat State University expressed that currently, the students have the possibility to study for free more languages, including English and Romanian in order to fully harness Erasmus+ Programmes possibilities’.

The event has represented an interactive platform, discussions being held in English, Romanian and Russian in the spirit of Erasmus+ Programme which is promoting academic mobility, intercultural exchange, and deepening linguistic skills.

Information Day is an annual informational campaign held by National Erasmus+ Office in the Republic of Moldova which aims to present the Erasmus+ Program’s opportunities among the Moldovan students, young professionals, and university staff and also to promote the internationalization of studies, mobilities, and exchanges of experience.
