6 new capacity-building in the field of youth projects with the participation of youth organisations from the Republic of Moldova were proposed for funding in 2024. In total there are 59 CB Youth projects which have been selected under the 2026 Erasmus+ call for proposals.
Capacity-building in the field of youth projects are international cooperation projects based on multilateral partnerships between organisations active in the field of youth. They run between organisations which are based in the EU and Erasmus+ countries and organisations in non-EU countries not associated to the Programme.
The primary goal of such projects is to raise the capacity of organisations working with young people outside formal learning in the target countries. This includes promoting non-formal learning activities like clubs or community groups, especially in organisations working with young people with fewer opportunities. Projects also aim to get young people more involved in society, giving them new competences and opportunities to act. Another main goal is to support youth work development and improve its quality and recognition.
